What is the shelf-life of shea butter?
Shelf life is 12 months from purchase for best use. Our shea butter can be used up to 18 months.

Yes! Shea butter is safe for all skin types, especially skin that is dry and needs rejuvenation. Our ingredients list is listed under every shea butter product. Please consult with a physician if there are concerns.
Are Sumner Street Shea products sold in stores?

Where do you source your products?
We source our shea butter from the northern regions of Ghana, West Africa. Our custom Ankara wax print tote bags are purchased and sewn in Accra, Ghana. We use organic and cold-pressed essential oils in our products.
How do I use shea butter?
Shea butter is best used as a body moisturizer for your body especially hands, arms and feet. Rub a small portion of shea butter between your palms and rub over body. It is best to use after the shower.
Can I purchase the tote bag separately?
The tote bag is not sold individually. The tote is custom and complimentary with purchase. 1 per unit.
My shea butter melted. What do I do?
Shea butter will melt in hot temperatures. To solidify your shea butter, place it in the refrigerator until it hardens. Keep your shea butter in a cool and dry area at room temperature.
